Why does my USPS tracking say things like “delayed for postage assessment” or “held awaiting payment”? Do I need to pay more?

No — you do not need to pay anything extra. All postage and fees for your order were prepaid when we shipped it. USPS has recently added a review step in their system where some packages are temporarily flagged with alerts such as “delayed for postage assessment” or “held awaiting payment.”

These alerts can look confusing, but they do not mean you owe additional money. After USPS completes their internal review, your package continues processing and is delivered as normal.

If you ever receive a request for payment, please forward it to our support at [email protected] so we can review it. In the unlikely event USPS does try to charge extra, we’ll take care of it for you.
